A Total Language Approach to teaching reading incorporates all aspects of language and should engage students with the printed word as both readers and writers. The all inclusive Rapid Road to Reading instructional program encourages the development of effective reading skills through a variety of exercises and approaches to the printed word. At Rapid Road to Reading Learning Centers, the effectiveness of reading instruction is maximized in a one-to-one interactive format in which instruction is focused on the specific needs of each student.
One of the skills essential to becoming proficient in reading is Phonemic Awareness.
